Configuring User Permissions
You can easily set access permissions for different users:
- All users have read permissions by default.
- Additional permissions may be granted to allow users to add files to containers.
Creating New Users
To create a new user:
- Under Cloud Storage, open the Users section.
- Click New user.
- Enter a username in the field.
- Click Save.
The new user will appear in the user list.
To change an existing user's password or permissions, click the settings icon (1).
Passwords can be saved on Selectel servers by clicking the corresponding check box (2). This is useful when sharing account data: different users will be able to view their login and password from the control panel.
To grant a user access to a specific container, you must select it from the container list (3). All users are automatically given read permission.
To let users add files to a container, toggle the permissions bar to Read and write (4).
Editing Your Primary Account
The primary account password can be changed by clicking on the settings icon (1).
After making your changes, click Save (2).
